Andrew St. John, who was born in Millinocket, Maine on July 9, 1982, launched his career in 2003 by appearing in ABC's hit soap opera General Hospital as Kyle Radcliffe. In the same year, he appeared in the movie Three Wishes and a year later appeared in What I Like About You. In 2004, St. John appeared in CSI: Miami as the ill-fated Daniel Kleiner and in CSI: NY as Dalton in 2005. Also in 2005, he played Robert Buckley in the film Homefront. In 2006, he appeared in Criminal Minds as Jeremy Collins and in Vanished as Chad Rainer. 2007 saw St. John being cast for the role of Jesse Weller in the new CW series, Life is Wild.

Jesse Weller is played by Andrew St. John in the new CW series, Life is Wild. Jesse is the son of Jo and Danny and he has a sister, Mia and two stepsiblings from his father, Katie and Chase. Together with his blended family, Jesse is dragged into South Africa by his father, an impassioned veterinarian who desires to change the lives of the people and animals of The Blue Antelope in South Africa. Life is Wild follows the experiences of a man who is determined to keep his family together as they submerge themselves in the diversity of South Africa.
