Nathan Ford and his motley crew is back to take revenge against the rich and powerful companies and individuals who strike against the needy.  When we last saw Leverage, Sophie and Nate were taken hostage after being caught in the middle of a bank robbery, along with the Leverage team's latest target: a corrupt county court judge.  So far, Leverage has done a good job mixing up the capers and villains effectively and it seems like the show is going to continue to keep it fresh with tonight's episode called “The Stork Job.”

In the sixth episode of Leverage, the crew works to take down a Serbian adoption agency that has been scamming money from desperate American couples hoping to adopt needy war orphans.

Meanwhile, series director Dean Devlin has something to say about viewers' reaction towards the modern-day Robin Hood drama.

“The reaction has been phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal.  The testing was through the roof. We've been traveling the country doing these little screenings and the audience response has been amazing.  The problem with television is whether you've made something good or not good has nothing to do with whether or not people tune in to watch it.  We're very confident that if people tune in they're going to like it because the vast majority do, but will they tune in?  That's the big question that has all of us nervously grinding our fingers into our chairs,” he told Pop Culture Zoo.

Leverage seems to be getting a lot of acclaim these days, but that doesn't guarantee the series a second season.  And because of that, Devlin reveals that fans will be satisfied when the 13-episode season comes to a close.

“The biggest episodes are the two part season finale. We decided to approach this entire season with the assumption that we don't get a second season.  We want one!  We're hoping we get one, but we said let's not make a show where you don't feel like you've had a complete meal. We really designed these thirteen to be a fulfilling season,” he added.
