Sara Lance and Alex Danvers may be on two different Earths, but they will once again occupy the same space in 2018. The CW announces an update for its mid-season plans, and the second half of DC' Legends of Tomorrow season 3 will air Mondays at 8/7c, taking over while Superigirl takes a two month hiatus.

The new Monday schedule will result in 23 consecutive weeks of new episodes of the two shows. Supergirl will return from its Winter break on Monday, January 15 at 8/7 and run for four weeks. Then, on Monday, February 12, Legends of Tomorrow will take over at 8/7c for the second half of its third season while Kara takes some time off.

Legends of Tomorrow will air its season 3 finale on Monday, April 9. Then, on Monday, April 16 at 8/7c, Supergirl returns to finish out its third season with 10 episodes in a row, leading to a season 3 finale on June 18.

The new schedule allows the network to avoid any repeats for five straight months, although it does mean a 9-week Spring hiatus for Supergirl.
