After completing a double major in performance and pre-med at the University of Central Oklahoma, Milena Govich moved to New York and found her first Broadway role as Lulu in the musical "Cabaret". She gained attention for her recurring role as Candy on the series "Rescue Me," starring Denis Leary. Govich was a previous guest star in an episode of "Law & Order" and later comes back to portray Nina Cassady in its 17th season.
Nina Cassady is the series' first female detective, working alongside Detective Ed Green.
