An accomplished actor and singer who has already made his mark in the worlds of theater, television and film, Jesse L. Martin continues to establish himself by constantly bringing a winning combination of indelible charm, charisma and intensity to his roles. He returns for his eighth season on "Law & Order" as Detective Ed Green. Jesse has received multiple SAG nominations (Ensemble) and six Image Award nominations (Outstanding Actor) for his work on the show.
Ed Green was the compulsive and passionate Detective in the TV series. He later became the senior detective and is tasked for the first time training rookie detective Nina Cassady.
