Casting Call

Looks like the show just ordered a casting call for Russian mail-order brides? Perhaps there's some kind of Russian mafia round up. Whatever it is, the word "Russian" never fails to tickle a crime enthusiast's interest.

"Double Strands"

T.R. Knight guest stars in this episode as a rapist suspect who reminds Detective Rollins (Giddish) of a similar case in Atlanta. Look for Rollins to continue to have a hard time, "breaking in" with the New York crew.

"Missing Pieces"

This Halloween episode showcases a missing baby, but the SVU team isn't falling for the "distraught parents" act.

Guest Appearances

Andre Braugher, who appeared in the original Law & Order series 15 years ago, will portray an attorney for the underprivileged. He may even get close to Detective Benson (Hargitay).

Sofia Vassilieva will be in the same episode with Braugher's debut. As Sarah Reese, Vassilieva will play an independent Bohemian girl in New York City on a piano scholarship. Unfortunately, her spirit will be broken once she's attacked in her apartment.

Charlie Tahan is also said to return as Calvin Arliss, Benson's foster child.
