Last month, BuddyTV reported that a couple of film stars will be joining Law & Order: SVU as guest stars for their 199th and 200th episode.  These film stars happen to be Bill Pullman and Robin Williams.  Pullman's episode entitled "Closet," featured him playing Curt Moss, an editor of a fictional New York newspaper who later surfaces as Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) new boyfriend.  Pullman's character got tangled up with Benson and the rest of the detectives in the Special Victims Unit after Benson tipped Moss off about Lincoln Haver's case.

Tonight, another grueling episode of Law & Order: SVU will air, featuring Robin Williams as a good guy gone bad after losing the people loved the most.

Episode 9.17, entitled "Authority," will feature Robin Williams as Engineer Merritt Rook, whose life turns upside down after a tragic loss, defying authority and making noise around the city.

It all begins when restaurant manager Dwight Lomax is caught in the act of molesting a female employee.  He claims that it wasn't intentional--in fact, he was just following orders from a mysterious police officer name Detective Milgram over the phone.  Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) later find out that Detective Milgram is none other than Merritt Rook, who bravely represents himself at the court hearing.  With his brilliant arguments and persuasive talk, he sets himself free and back on the streets, where a group of followers gather up some pillows in protest.  They say they don't want to conform, and most importantly, don't want to be like sheep.  Moreover, Rook goes overboard when Benson and Stabler get entangled in one of his psychological schemes, thus leaving the SVU department very vulnerable.  Check out the promo clip below for a sneak peek of the episode airing tonight.



Another guest star on this episode is Scott Adsit of 30 Rock (playing Dwight Lomax), who will be joined by series regulars Adam Beach, Dann Florek, Ice-T, Diane Neal, Tamara Tunie, Richard Belzer and BD Wong.
