ABC has finalized the decisions for its current shows. After announcing a
number of renewals yesterday, today the network completed the decisions
by renewing
Private Practice,
Body of Proof and
Don't Trust the B----
in Apartment 23. Meanwhile, a quartet of shows have been canceled.
Freshman shows
Missing,
GCB,
The River and
Pan Am have all been officially canceled after just one season.
ABC Renews Castle, Grey's and More>>Joining the previously announced renewals (which include freshman drama
Scandal) are
Body of Proof for season 3 and
Apartment 23 for a second season.
Private Practice was also picked up for a sixth season, though it's only for 13 episodes and will likely be its last one. Alongside
Grey's Anatomy and
Scandal, this means all three shows created by Shonda Rhimes are coming back next season.
ABC Orders 9 New Shows for Next Season>>The only show not officially renewed yet is Tim Allen's
Last Man Standing, though that is essentially a sure thing, especially since the network just picked up another multi-camera sitcom starring Reba McEntire which seems perfect to pair with
Last Man Standing.
ABC will reveal its full lineup next week.
