Tonight on the season 7 premiere of Last Comic Standing, we watched the two-day Los Angeles auditions.
Of course, there were the usual people in crazy outfits that felt that was the way to make it on the show. But none of those acts like the "talking" dog, the alien warrior in full armor or the 8-foot tall Sasquatch wannabee even made it to the evening's performances in front of a live audience. Thank goodness!
On the first day of the Last Comic Standing
auditions, 11 comics made it through to the semi-finals and on day two, seven more made it through. Here's a quick list of the semifinalists so far: Felipe Esparza, Fortune Feimster, Lil' Rel, Laurie Kilmarten, Jacob Sirof, Kirk Fox, Taylor Williamson, David Feldman, Maronzio Vance, Guy Torry, Shane Mauss, Jonathan Thymius, Christela Alonzo, Jason Nash, James Adomian, Rachel Feinstein, Chip Pope & Paula Bel.
The show's host Craig Robinson gave us the absolute corniest joke of the evening. It was so lame that it actually did make me laugh:
What are the sexiest farm animals?
How did you enjoy the premiere? Was it as funny as you hoped it would be? Did your favorite comic make it to the semifinals? Let us know what you think!
And be sure to check back tomorrow when I'll post the 10 funniest and the 5 lamest jokes from the Last Comic Standing premiere.
