Emmy Award winner Josh Duhamel landed his first acting job playing the title character in a film re-make of Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Shortly after the shoot, he moved to New York City to join the cast of "All My Children," playing a role that garnered him three Daytime Emmy nominations. Duhamel stars as Danny McCoy, the protégé of "Sin City's" most respected surveillance guru, Ed Deline (
James Caan), in NBC's hit drama "Las Vegas."
Danny McCoy is a former U.S.Marine, with guerilla training and counter intelligence training, who initially was Ed Deline's apprentice, but was later promoted to head of security. He was born and raised in Las Vegas, is a Marine, and is life-long friend and on-and-off lover of
Mary Connell. After the resignation of Ed Deline in 2005, for a brief period McCoy was President of Operations at the Montecito Hotel. Later upon the return of Deline, McCoy was made Chief of Surveillance and Security.
