As Las Vegas heads for a new season, fans can expect to see more musical guests to grace the fast-paced, sexy drama. Kicking off season 5 is the country music duo Montgomery Gentry, who will perform a segment on the two-hour season debut on Friday, September 28 at 9pm ET on NBC.

Set in the fictional Montecito Casino, Las Vegas is a series that follows an elite Las Vegas surveillance team charged with maintaining the security of one of Sin City's largest resorts and casinos.

In the season opener entitled “A Hero Ain't Nothing But A Sandwich,” the pair, composed of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, will be performing their top 5 hit single “Hell Yeah” and will also be featured playing the slots.

Aside from Montgomery Gentry, fans can expect the premiere to include James Caan (Ed Deline), who is expected to wrap things up on the show.  The episode will start where the season 4 finale left off, resolving all the cliffhangers, and will evolve with the exit of James Caan and the introduction of Tom Selleck's character, Jim Cooper, as the casino's new owner.

Selleck, a 62-year-old Emmy Award-winning actor, describes his role as someone more mysterious than Caan's character.

“I don't want to do what Jimmy did — beat people up every week,” Selleck said.

Naturally, the principle cast members will also head back for another run.  These include Josh Duhamel (Danny McCoy), James Lesure (Mike Cannon), (DeLinda Deline) Molly Sims, and Vanessa Marcil (Samantha Jane "Sam" Marquez).  Also joining the elite Las Vegas surveillance team is Camille Guaty (Priosn Break), who will be playing a feisty new casino concierge named Piper Nielsen.
