The Las Vegas life made it big for Marsha Thomason, as the series star was cast on the CW's new drama-comedy, Easy Money.  The show revolves around a family of loan sharks, as well as their notorious exploits dealing with threats of blackmail and violence.

Marsha Thomason has been slated to play the romantic interest of Jeff Hephner's character, Morgan Buffkin.  He is the prodigal son of the family, and though good with the line of work, he has been wishing to make his family's shady business legitimate.  Though Hephner obtained a significant role, Easy Money focuses more on Bobette Buffkin, the domineering matriarch of the family who heads the company.

Easy Money also stars Katie Lowes, Jay R. Ferguson, Gary Farmer, Judge Reinhold and Nick Searcy.  The role of the maternal boss will be played by Laurie Metcalf, known for her portrayal in Roseanne and her guest roles in Monk, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.  It has been reported that the first season of Easy Money will have 13 episodes, as ordered by the network.  The series has also given the reins to Alik Sakharov, who will be directing.  He has previously worked on other acclaimed series like The Sopranos, Rome and Sex and the City.

Easy Money is a new series on the CW, penned by Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider, famed scribes of The Sopranos.  As part of the CW's Sunday lineup, Easy Money is being developed and programmed by the Media Rights Capital.

Marsha Thomason was previously seen as Naomi Dorrit on the well-received J.J. Abrams series Lost, and played the “Ice Queen” Nessa Holt on the first two seasons of NBC's Las Vegas.  She was seen in 47 episodes as a former official of the best Las Vegas casino, the Montecito.

Easy Money has been scheduled to premiere this fall on the CW and will air at 9pm on Sundays.
