Las Vegas

NBC Action
Exclusive Interview: James Lesure, Star of Las Vegas
You don't have to visit Las Vegas to feel like you're in on the action.  Friday night's are home to the aptly named NBC show, where the stakes are just as high.  James Lesure, surveillance team member and often  comedic relief, hopes that NBC continues to "roll the dice" and call for another season.  James took time from his schedule to talk to BuddyTV about living, loving and gambling.

Have you had the acting bug since birth?

Nope. I got it the year after I graduated from high school.

How did you find yourself on Las Vegas?

I read the pilot, liked it, and went on the audition...and got very lucky.

Where do you draw from to play such a sauve surveillance team member?

My father.

There have been many guest stars in the show's run, who was your
favorite to work with?

I really dug working with Darryl Hammond and Alec Baaldwin.

What is the on-set atmosphere like when the camera isn't rolling?

I'm happy to say it's pretty fun!

Being surrounded by Vegas all of the time, are you a gambling man
yourself?

Nope- My life is a gamble...don't need any extra gambling! (laugh)

There has been a lot of talk about the possible end of the show, can
you put to rest any rumors?

I hope NBC will keep "rolling the dice" on us!!!

What are your favorite tv shows besides Las Vegas?

P.T.I. (Pardon the interruption) and I'm loving American Idol.

What is up next for you in the future?

Hopefully a lot of great living and great loving.
