Blonde beauty Lauren Catherine Conrad, who was born in Newport on February 1, 1986, grew up in Laguna Beach, California. Lauren Conrad was a cast member on the first season of MTV’s reality TV show Laguna Beach. In the show, she had a crush on Stephen Colletti, and dated Jason Wahler. She began to harbor an interest for fashion design when she was in seventh grade, so she studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for a semester.
On her current show, The Hills, Conrad is an intern for Teen Vogue magazine, and she is now attending at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, majoring in fashion design.
