Jason Wahler's imminent wedding. However, Wahler is first to point out that Conrad's disapproval does not necessarily mean she is still pining for him.
According to Wahler, his one-time
Laguna Beach flame is probably just trying to be a good friend looking out for his interests.

"Lauren wasn't too happy," Wahler confided in the September 17 issue of
In Touch Weekly. "She doesn't like the girl I'm dating. I don't know why there's tension. She thinks I have to focus on myself more, and that it's too soon. I think she's trying to look out and be a good friend. To be honest, I don't think she wants to get back together. Maybe a while ago, but not anymore."
Although Wahler and Conrad's romantic relationship didn't last, Wahler narrated how his former fling came through with her support after his life hit the skids following a series of arrests. Wahler spent two months at Orange County's Chapman House inpatient rehabilitation facility as an alternative to prison time for his infractions.
"After my arrest, [Conrad] called and we became friends again," Wahler told
In Touch Magazine.
As for his wedding plans, the
Laguna Beach alum revealed that he and his new fiancée do not plan on walking down the aisle until after several more months. According to him, they want all the preparations to be as smooth as possible and for the event to go off without any hitches.
"We're thinking about getting married in a year and a half, two years," Wahler said. "We don't have a date set. We want to be 100%."
Wahler proposed to college tennis player, Katja Decker-Sadowski last month. The proposal took place during a housewarming bash for their new Los Angeles home. Among those in attendance was Lauren Conrad. When the wedding finally does take place, Conrad will, in all likelihood, also be among the invited guests.
