Former Laguna Beach star, Lauren Conrad, has finally seen her dream of creating a fashion line come to fruition.  Conrad, who now stars in Laguna Beach's spin-off, The Hills, launched her Lauren Conrad Collection on MTV Network's Virtual Hills last Monday, September 24.

Conrad has increasingly become a popular trendsetter for young women, who have adopted her casual and laid back California style of dressing.  With the release of her very own clothing line, Lauren Conrad's fans now have her fashion sense to assist in keeping them chic and stylish right at their fingertips.

Prior to last Monday's debut of her collection on Virtual Hills, the Laguna Beach alum had already unveiled her real-world line during last month's PROJECT Trade Show in Las Vegas.  Now that her fashion wares have also been unfurled at Virtual Hills, fans will find items similar to some of Conrad's real-world pieces.  Among them are the Sophia and Jillian dresses which are representative of Conrad's trademark penchant for flirty, whimsical dresses and sophisticated chic separates.

More importantly however, fans can now click on the virtual item they fancy and proceed to purchase the corresponding real-world apparel.  They can easily navigate to www.shoplaurenconrad.com where the Fall Preview line of the Lauren Conrad Collection is now available.  Additional lines are in the drawing board stages including the Spring 2008 collection, which is slated for distribution through specialty boutiques and national retailers.

In other news, the former Laguna Beach star recently attended her ex-boyfriend, Brody Jenner's birthday bash in sin city Las Vegas.  According to Gossip Girls, the night began friendly enough with Conrad giving the birthday boy a well-meaning kiss in greeting.  Pretty soon though, the former coosome twosome were reportedly doing more than just kissing, turning the occasion into a serious make-out session.  It remains to be seen whether sparks will truly fly anew between the one-time lovers.
