After his exposure on reality shows like
Laguna Beach and
The Hills,
Jason Wahler will now take on the big screen with the movie
2 Dudes & a Dream. This marks the 20-year-old reality TV star's silver screen debut.
Directed by Nathan Bexton,
2 Dudes & a Dream is a comedy about a wannabe actor and a hopeful plus size model that move to Los Angeles to go after what they really want in life despite the barriers that hold them back.
Brian Drolet stars as Thomas Price, an aspiring actor from New York who wants to become a movie star, but his closest achievement so far is selling popcorn in his family's movie theater, while Nick Nicotera stars as Sebastian Dinkle, an overweight metro-sexual working in his father's farm in North Carolina who dreams of being a famous supermodel. Both guys end up in Hollywood with the same dream, which is to make it big. Eventually, they become friends and embark on a series of wild parties and encounter crazy personalities along the pursuit of their goals.
In the comedy, the former
Laguna Beach star will be joining the cast as a supporting character in the form of a casting agent. Aside from the aforementioned actors, the movie also features Carlos Ramirez (Roberto Castillo), Al Santos (Chuck Stevenson), and Tanja Reichert (April Stevenson), as well as Cher Tenbush (Hot Girl), who is popularly known for her exposure on the reality dating show
Beauty and the Geek.
Meanwhile, fans can catch the
Laguna Beach star as a contestant on MTV's
Celebrity Rap Superstar, which airs every Thursday at 10pm.
