Fresh from successfully setting a new Guinness Record for most tattoos done in 24 hours,
Kat Von D is bringing several of the most popular names in the world of inking together for a three-day festival.
LA Ink's resident artist is presenting
MUSINK – a tattoo/music festival to be held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Anaheim, California next month.
Aside from some of the biggest names in tattooing, the event will also feature a handful of the finest Rock n Roll bands from around the world.
MUSINK – Kat Von D's Tattoo/Music Festival - is scheduled to take place on February 22, 23 and 24. It boasts of 200 of the best ink artists from all over the globe. Among those who will participate are High Voltage Tattoo's very own Adam Forman and Adrian Gallegos. The affair will also showcase musical performances from the likes of Metal Skool, Tiger Army, Turbonegro, Guana Bats, Fireball Ministry and The Used.
Tickets are priced at $25 for each day of the festival and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/1182952. There are also a limited number of specially discounted three-day tickets costing $65. Finally, there is an even more limited number of V.I.P. tickets pegged at $100, which allow the holders access to the V.I.P. hospitality area, backstage band area and gives the bearers exclusive in and out privileges.

LA Ink's Kat Von D will be appearing on the
Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, January 11. She joins other featured guests that evening, Tracy Morgan and Dropkick Murphys.
The last time the
LA Ink star paid Letterman's show a visit, she told Dave that her next tattoo will be his name. The talk show host will have an even better treat on Friday, when Kat Von D unveils Letterman's mug tattooed on her thigh. The rendering, which was done by artist Thomas Hooper of NY Adorned, reportedly elicited this comment from the glib
Late Show host when the episode was taped on Monday: “That's the only way a guy like me is ever going to get on your thigh."
