Last Thursday,
L.A. Ink returned for yet another season. As the High Voltage Tattoo shop continues to grow, everyone's becoming more stressed out to keep it running smoothly. In the season opener, tattoo artist and shop owner
Kat Von D struggled whether to hire another friend as manager, while rocker Dave Navarro visited Kat for a pinup style portrait memorializing his mom.
Tomorrow, TLC will be treating fans with yet another episode of
L.A. Ink. But before that, Kat reveals what's in store for the new episodes.
“There's definitely drama,” Kat told TV Squad in an interview. “I think that this season is really the best. It's tricky because it's gotten so huge, so I've hired like an actual general manager who comes in and has to kick a little bit of ass to get us up to speed. So she'll be a new cast member. I'm really excited about it because I think people are gonna love her.”
As expected, fans can look forward to a lot of celebrity guests to grace the
Miami Ink spin-off. Additionally, Kat's boyfriend Nikki Sixx, bassist and the main songwriter for the rock band Mötley Crue, will also be featured on the show to get inked.
“I tattooed him on the show,” Kat said of Nikki. “I don't want to give away what it is because it's awesome! But you know, it created probably one of the most awesome, rock 'n' roll moments in history to me. Just seeing where somebody comes from…he got this tattoo to surprise one of the members of Motley Crue and, at first, we were all kind of laughing about it, and then it turned into the most emotional rollercoaster, but in a positive way. It's pretty life-changing ... I can't wait to show people that.”
Fans can catch
L.A. Ink every Thursday at 10pm on TLC.
