Season 2-B of 'Kyle XY' Begins January
Matt Dallas will be back on more adventures as Kyle XY on January 14 next year.  TV Guide reports that the series was able to complete filming of the additional 10 installments which ABC Family ordered a month after the first half of the second season ended in September.

We have some interesting initial tidbits on Kyle XY fans can look forward to when the show returns next year.

In the first half of season 2, we met Jessi, played by Jaimie Alexander, who is another subject from Zzyzx.  We also saw the Trager family struggle as Stephen underwent a change of careers.  Nicole became unsure of herself while Lori had to deal with the aftermath of her break-up with Declan.  Josh had befriended Andi and Kyle was torn between love and his responsibilities.  Oh and yeah, the last we saw of Jessi, she was jumping off a cliff straight into a raging river after coming to the conclusion that she had the potential to betray Kyle confidence.

According to TV Guide, when Kyle XY returns next year with part two of the second season, Kyle will finally reveal his test tube history to his adoptive Trager family.  Together, they will try to bring down Madacorp, the company trying to control Kyle and Jessi.  We'll also find out what becomes of Jessi after her spectacular leap into the river during season 2-A's cliffhanger.

Over the summer, the Television Critics Association cited Kyle XY for best children's programming, besting the likes of Sponge Bob Square Pants and Dora the Explorer.  Aside from its additional 10-episode season 2-B, Kyle XY fans are already assured of continued mysteries and adventures since the series had already previously been renewed for a third season.  In the meantime, Kyle XY will continue to air Mondays at 8pm eastern.
