Canadian actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau was born on November 4, 1990 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is best known for playing Josh Trager on ABC Family's Kyle XY. Prior to landing the role in Kyle XY, he appeared in a film entitled Ill Fated in 2004, where he played young Bobby. In 2007, he appeared in the horror film, Trick 'r Treat.

When his mother, a therapist at the Juvenile Detention Center, decided to take home and care for a mysterious boy named Kyle, Josh and his sister Lori became skeptical about him. Later on, however, Kyle and Josh developed a brotherly bond which was challenged when Kyle confronted Josh. This confrontation was due to Josh's belief that Kyle was an alien.
