April Matson, who was born on June 20, 1985 in California, is an actress best known for playing Lori Trager on the ABC Family's Kyle XY. She also appeared on the FOX's Quintuplets and in the 2005 film short, Forsaken. Matson was trained at the Elsinore Theatre, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Second City troupe's school in Los Angeles, where she studied sketch comedy. Aside from acting, she also enjoys singing, and has one song featured on Kyle XY's soundtrack album.
Lori Trager is played by April Matson on the series Kyle XY. Lori is the daughter of Stephen and Nicole Trager, a therapist at the Juvenile Detention Center. When her mother decided to bring home a mysterious boy with no recollection of his past, she got upset and sought comfort in her two best friends, Amanda and Hilary. She also unsuccessfully tried to break up Amanda and her boyfriend Charlie, as Lori believed they weren't meant for each other. Lori also has her own share of love problems as she had an on again off again relationship with Declan McDunaugh.
