Tonight on Kyle XY, a social worker pays the Trager household a visit, throwing the family into momentary chaos in the episode entitled “Grounded.”

Also this week, Chris Olivero talks about his experience as part of the Kyle XY family, and about finding himself deep into the realm of science fiction.

First up thought, brace yourselves for spoilers to tonight's offering.

When someone files an anonymous complaint about Kyle (Matt Dallas), a social worker makes an unannounced visit to the Trager residence to investigate.  Things become a bit sticky as a result of Kyle and Lori's (April Matson) hidden secrets in the house.  Lori has a stash of contraband beer tucked away in the closet while Kyle is harboring fugitive Amanda (Kirsten Prout) up in his room.  On top of everything, there is, of course, the still unexplained sleeping arrangement, where Kyle suspiciously bunks in the tub.

With such bizarre and perplexing secrets in the Trager domicile, can anyone and everyone actually sell the social worker on the notion that they are just another happy, healthy and ordinary family?  Find out on Kyle XY when “Grounded” airs at 8 tonight.

Meanwhile, Chris Olivero, who stars as Declan McDonough on Kyle XY, is thrilled at being a regular on the series, according to his recent interview with Media Blvd Magazine.

“It's a great group of people,” the actor said of the Kyle XY cast and crew.  “It was very rewarding when I learned that I got the part.  It's a great network to work with and I've really enjoyed working with them.  Basically, the script and the relationship with the network is the main reason why I took it,” Olivero added about what it was that got him hooked on the project.

“I was always into the mystery.  It's always more enjoyable to me in a show when there's a certain level of mystery or unknown, so you can let your imagination kind of go.  I was into comic books and things like that,” Olivero also said, citing how he grew up to Star Wars, Star Trek, Quantum Leap and MacGyver.  “I think Kyle XY's a great show for today.  I think it gives you the family values. It gives you a realness of teenage relationships and also an ideal.  Kyle represents the ideal of what people could be.”
