Matt Dallas is back for an action packed third season of the science fiction teen drama Kyle XY.  The first of 10 all-new episodes begins tonight at 9pm ET/PT on ABC Family.

When we last saw Kyle XY, Amanda (Kirsten Prout) was abducted by someone while standing outside school waiting for Kyle to come back.  Now, Kyle (Matt Dallas) plots to rescue her in the season opener called “It Happened One Night.”

Restrained and weakened, Kyle awakens inside a Latnok building.  Despite his predicament, he must escape and rescue Amanda, who is being held in the same building, with the help of Jessi (Jaimie Alexander).

Throughout season 3, Kyle will feel the pressure to become a man, as well as grow into his hero status.  At the same time, he realizes that he may have to sacrifice relationships with those he holds most dear.  Prompting this change in Kyle is the secretive organization Latnok.  Led by charismatic spokesperson Cassidy (guest star Hal Ozsan), the company feels that it is time to finally introduce themselves to Kyle, suggesting that he work for them and become the man he is destined to be.

On the other hand, Latnok uses kidnapping, blackmail and manipulation to get what they want, leaving Kyle doubtful about the true nature of their interest in him.  Jessi, who is a product of the same experiment, seems to be a pawn that Latnok can use to get to Kyle.  At any rate, Kyle and Jessi must work together to uncover Latnok's true motives.  And as the problems mount and the mystery deepens, they find themselves growing closer together.

Kyle XY also stars Bruce Thomas as Stephen Trager, Marguerite MacIntyre as Nicole Trager, Jean-Luc Bilodeau as Josh Trager, April Matson as Lori Trager, Chris Olivero as Declan McDonough and Magda Apanowicz as Andy Jensen.
