The first half of
Kyle XY's second season presented viewers with a different side of Lori Trager, played by
April Matson. However, the 26-year-old actress assures that the change her character is going through is only temporary, and that fans will see the “Lori that we all love” as the season continues.

What she is 26 can anyone else believe that.
Also if you like Kyle XY you will probably like Jericho check...
“Lori got mean. I mean she definitely got angry. That was definitely a lot of episodes of being really angry and going through everything,” Matson told monstersandcritics.com during a recent conference call. “But definitely in the second part of the season… she sort of makes peace with everything… She does definitely work it out and gets back to her sort of … moving on, songwriting again, more drama with Declan [
Chris Olivero] and just she lets go of all that anger, so definitely I think we'll get back to the Lori that we all love."
Speaking of love, Matson says that a new man will be making his way to Lori's heart on the second half of
Kyle XY's second season, which returns on Monday, January 14.
"There's definitely a new guy in the picture,” April Matson said. “His name is Mark, and he's played by Josh Zuckerman… I think everyone is going to love his character. We have a really great chemistry together, so you can look forward to that."
On the other hand, Matson didn't rule out the possibility of Lori reuniting with ex-beau Declan, although ultimately, she does what she believes is the best for her.
“Declan and Lori sort of talk about it and are sort of exploring that road again,” she said, adding that Lori “loves Declan, but she loves herself more, and she sort of just does what she needs to do… She really makes the choice that's best for herself, and I love that…that young girls that are watching the show get that…”
Since all 23 episodes of
Kyle XY's second season were completed before the writers' strike began, the show has remained largely unaffected by the strike. This may all change, however, when the time comes to produce the ten episodes ABC Family ordered for the show's third season.
“We have been picked up for ten that we start shooting in March. Our writers are supposed to go back to work this month. If nothing is resolved in the next few weeks, we might have to postpone,” Matson explained during the conference call, “but we're definitely going to have a season three at some point, and hopefully, if everything is resolved, we'll be able to stay pretty close to our shooting schedule.”
Who do you think Lori will choose in the end?
