Culinary greatness or Hollywood fame and fortune? The toss-up between the lure of both callings is the focus of tonight's episode on
Kitchen Nightmares with chef
Gordon Ramsay. In the spotlight will be Sebastian's in Burbank, California.
The volatile Ramsay must sort out the priorities of both the owner and his staff in order to bring Sebastian's back on track.
When
Kitchen Nightmares troubleshooter, Gordon Ramsay visits Sebastian's in Burbank, California, he is confronted with another kitchen in distress and disorder. On the road and lending his services to help improve various dining establishments across the nation, Ramsay butts heads with owner Sebastian regarding the menu.
The multi-Michelin star recipient Ramsay wants to transform Sebastian's complicated menu into a more diner-friendly version, along with eliminating all the frozen food once and for all. Will Sebastian defer to the distinguished, if not, overbearing Ramsay, or will he stand his ground and run the
Kitchen Nightmares star out of his turf? Find out tonight on an all-new installment of
Kitchen Nightmares at 9pm.
Also in store in the episode, Ramsay will have to refocus the folks behind Sebastian's to what truly matters in their business. With staff members appearing more preoccupied with putting on a show good enough to land them a Hollywood acting gig and owner Sebastian's ambitions of franchising his establishment, everyone seems to have lost track of what is really important and pivotal.
Kitchen Nightmares had recently been renewed for another 10 episodes slated to begin next year. The traveling restaurant rescue show has fared quite remarkably in a difficult time slot, where it is pitted against such heavyweights as
Private Practice,
Criminal Minds and
Bionic Woman. Similarly, Ramsay's other reality show,
Hell's Kitchen, has also been given the go-ahead for another, its fourth, season. Like
Kitchen Nightmares'
second batch of installments,
Hell's Kitchen is also scheduled to air in 2008.
