Kitchen Nightmares: Ramsay Deals with Trobiano Trails
Last week on FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay headed to Trobiano’s restaurant in the hopes that he might be able to save the establishment.  Spearheading the $500,000 indebted restaurant is executive chef Anthony, who is obliviously proud of himself.  His restaurant serves dinner at 4:30pm, the walls are painted an ugly shade of beige and they serve chopped salad.  Ramsay described his first order as “ghastly,” causing Anthony to become “furious.”

When Ramsay calmed down a bit, he aired his comments, saying, “One thing I noticed is the size of the portions.  The food is hideous.  For a chef to let go of his kitchen like this, shows he doesn’t care.”

An arrogant Anthony refused to take responsibility for his kitchen management, but when Ramsay decided to walk out, Anthony ran after him and admitted that the restaurant desperately needed his help.

An exasperated Anthony ran into more trouble when he set a pan on fire and the fire alarm went off.  One of the owners, Pat, commented, “Tonight was a disaster.”

Additionally, Anthony felt the pressure from his girlfriend Tiffany, whom he fears may leave him if the restaurant fails.  Ramsay finally interfered to correct things. He redecorated the restaurant and made a new menu.  Adding up to the pressure was the fact that the editor of Bon Apetit was going to surprise them with a visit.  Thanks to Ramsay, the food critic was impressed.

“The fish and the chicken are really winners,” he added.  The owners were hopeful that a good review of their restaurant would be later published.

Moreover, Ramsay added a finishing touch to his work by giving Anthony a little push in a form of an engagement ring.  Anthony mustered up the courage to ask Tiffany to marry him and she gladly agreed. Ramsay adds to the festivities by organizing the wedding on the same night.
