King of the Hill is a sardonic animated series created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels. The show maintains realism while featuring unconventional wacky humor. General themes of the show include friendship, gender issues, masculinity, sex, patriotism, family and many more.

The main focus of the show King of the Hill is the Hill’s family’s daily activities. The family consists of Hank Hill, Peggy Hill and Bobby Hill. Luanne Platter, Joseph Gribble, Dale Gribble, Bill Dauterive, and Nancy Gribble are other characters on the show which complicates and makes the show more interesting. The general plot of the show displays Hanks’s willingness to do the right thing even when those who surround him are more inclined to do wrong. Also apparent in the show is the characters’ proud Texan heritage as well as references to Texas history and culture.

King of the Hill is produced by Mike Judge, Greg Daniels, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Stern and Howard Klein among others. It airs Sundays at 8:30 PM on FOX.
