Eight-year-old Mallory of Indianapolis, Indiana is an aspiring pediatrician or veterinarian who admires Miley Cyrus, Emma Roberts and Julie Andrews. Her favorite movies include The Sound of Music, Princess Diaries, and Homeward Bound. She enjoys math class and watching Survivor and American Idol. Mallory thinks that the lack of education will be a bigger problem in the future and that global warming is merely a myth.

Mallory joins the chosen kids aged 8 to 15 on CBS' Kid Nation, a reality show which sends them to abandoned Bonanza City, New Mexico, where they are to establish their own kids-only community. The kids will be engaging in games to determine their social status, and will function as a real society with governance and economy.
