Eleven-year-old Kelsey from Furlong, Pennsylvania is an aspiring financial advisor in Wall Street. She likes playing Dance Dance Revolution and reading The Clique series. She also enjoys watching America's Next Top Model and attending Math and English classes in school. Kelsey also believes that global warming is a serious problem that needs to be resolved.

Kelsey is one of 40 youth aged 8 to 15 on CBS' Kid Nation, a reality series which sends the kids to Bonanza City, New Mexico. Upon arriving there, the kids divide themselves into groups and engage in team games which would segregate them into classes. With the society now formed, they must be able to handle mature issues such as governance and labor. The small community must then turn itself into a society modeled after the real world, but composed of smart and able children.
