Nine-year-old Emilie from Sparks, Nevada is part of Western Nevada Horseman's Association and Carson City Equestrian Club. She enjoys horse back riding, basketball and hip hop dancing and aspires to be a professional barrel racer when she grows up.

Emilie is one of 40 kids featured in CBS' Kid Nation, a reality show which places a group of kids in deserted Bonanza City, New Mexico to build their own society and govern their own small economy. The kids must get along with each other and do their best to vie for the gold stars which are given every three days at the town meeting. These gold stars are worth $20,000 and are only given to those who have exemplified good leadership and kindness to their little society.
