'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Recap: Kris Jenner Needs More Screen Time
'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Recap: Kris Jenner Needs More Screen Time
I hate myself for saying it, but I miss Kris Jenner on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her presence is noticeably downplayed these last two episodes, and without her alcohol fueled maniac hysterics it's been incredibly boring. Scott's restaurant opening and Kim revealing she's dating the fishstick creator of 808s and Heartbreak and Watch the Throne all fall incredibly flat.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Odom Knows Best

At first Khloe's still mad at her sisters. Their constant pressure to visit New York for Scott's restaurant opening drove her over the edge last episode, leading her to not want to go on the trip. As soon as her husband Lamar Odom decides visiting NY would be nice, Khloe's all for it. Great job flip - flopping Khloe. You'd be naturally suited for a career in politics.

Drinking's Only a Problem If You Want to Fix It

Too bad Scott's latest venture seems half - baked. It's the night before opening and the eatery entrepreneur feels overwhelmed with all his responsibilities. Rob's feeling down as his sock line isn't off to a running a start and gets delayed until 2013. The two decide to deal with their stress in an adult matter: by getting fancy hobo drunk. Seriously, they're out getting lit until five in the morning.

This angers every Kardashian as Scott skipped their arrival that night and instead recreated Leaving Las Vegas. Listen Scott, I know you're reading this and I just want to say drinking instead of seeing your family is perfectly understandable.

Also I've got a joke for you, Scott: Two guys walk into a bar. Their drinking is destroying their families.

Get it?

Fish Sticks

Luckily everyone's soon distracted by Kim's latest romance. Khloe and Kourtney interrogate Kim over whether she's a large rapping fishstick. Kim responds very clearly that she and the fishstick are yeah, no, kinda sorta maybe dating.

When fishstick does finally make an appearance it's for all of five seconds. Apparently fishstick also follows rules for vampires; he hangs creepily in the doorway and never enters the room as he's not invited in. Despite being the most hyped part of the episode, fishstick says maybe ten words, seven of them advising Kim on her outfit. It's cute.

All's Boring That Ends Boring

Scott's restaurant opening gala goes off without a hitch, which pacifies Kourtney's anger. Kris and Kim are still pressuring her to dump the non - hubbified drunkard following last bender. Hopefully they'll keep that up, this season needs something interesting soon.

Overall, this episode was another disappointment. There's no drama and everything hyped in its commercials proved to be only a bit part. Was anyone else let down for a second part in a row? Should Kris reassert herself in the series? Comment and let us know!
