Buddytv's Oscar Dahl previously reported, with much disinterest, that reality star and tabloid darling Kim Kardashian will make an appearance on an upcoming episode of How I Met your Mother.  Giving credence to the article, when Kim visited The View way back, Barbara Walters asked her as-a-matter-of-factly, “Why are you famous? What have you done?”  That pretty much drove home the point.

On her blog, the star of Keeping up with the Kardashians wrote that she finished filming for How I Met Your Mother last week, and she had a great time.  Also, she doesn't deny that she seriously lacked experience in the acting department.

“I recently filmed an episode of How I Met Your Mother!  This is the first sitcom I have ever worked on, and I absolutely loved it!” Kim writes.  “Everyone on the set was extremely kind and so fun to work with!  Bob Saget, who is the show's narrator, and cast member Jason Segel were there as well as my own mother, who everyone got to meet.”

On the episode, which is set to air in January, Marshall finds a copy of a gossip magazine called “Them Weekly” after he finds the perfect bathroom in his office building.  To his surprise, the magazine comes to life and starts talking to him via Kim Kardashian.

“I played the role of myself!” Kim adds.  “In the scene I am on the cover of a weekly magazine and I come to life!  So, I had to film it all on a green screen!”

Kim, 28, is not the only reality show personality to appear on this episode.  Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of The Hills and Kendra Wilkinson of The Girls Next Door will also be there.  The four will reportedly taunt and tease Marshall all from a magazine.

Kim rose to fame after a sex tape of her with Brandy's brother Ray-J surfaced and made the rounds online.  She got her own show on E! along with her family on Keeping up with the Kardashians and is dating New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush.
