It's weird to hear about the blow of real life hitting reality television that quickly. Kourtney Kardashian, star of E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has announced that she is indeed pregnant. As usual, we're not going to hear about the baby's daddy just yet.
According to Access Hollywood, the 30-year-old Kourtney announced the news to Ryan Seacrest and said that she learned about it while filming her new show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. She began to feel unwell on a trip featured on the series, so she had herself checked.
"I found out I was pregnant," the celebrity told E! News
. "We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick and I just kept thinking, like, something wasn't feeling right."
Kourtney went on to relate how she had to take a series of pregnancy tests just to confirm the news, and now we all know that she's expecting. How's that for stealing Kim Kardashian's spotlight?
"I took like 20 tests," she said. "I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news and I was just so shocked."
As for the identity of the baby's father, she's keeping mum. Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians
would know that Kourtney's had this on and off relationship with Scott Disick though. She did, however, refuse to say if they were back together.
"You're going to have to see the show," Kourtney explained.
Still, the rest of the Kardashian family is thrilled to hear all about it. Kourtney confirmed that she's due in December, and that her mother Kris just can't wait. "She's really excited," the soon-to-be mommy said.
Of course, we'll all get to hear about more of Kourtney Kardashian until her delivery day. But that's too far away, so fans will have to settle for the premiere of the new reality series, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami
. The show debuts on E! this Sunday at 10pm.
