It's finally over! After 536 days of legal woes and drama, Kim Kardashian reportedly got a divorce deal from Kris Humphries, who originally had been fighting for an annulment for their 72-day marriage. Judge Hank Goldberg granted the dissolution of the marriage and according to TMZ
, Humphries will not get any money from the reality TV starlet while each party will pay their own attorney's fees.
The Humphries-Kardashian court drama came to an end over the weekend in a Los Angeles courtroom, where the judge ended the hearing with a "congratulations on your dissolution," to Kardashian.
Humphries, who was not present in court, allegedly agreed to the divorce after realizing that "he didn't have a chance in hell of proving that Kim defrauded him." A source told RadarOnline
, "At the end of the day, Kris is truly a good guy. Yes, he was angry at Kim for the way their marriage ended and he truly did feel defrauded by her and the show. But lately, especially in recent weeks, he just feels sorry for her. She's pregnant and obviously under a lot of stress. He didn't want to be part of it anymore. This was never about the money for Kris. He has plenty. It was about clearing his name. But I think he finally realized enough damage has been done on both sides and it was time to end the situation once and for all."
In spite of the good news, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is not yet officially single. Final paperwork has yet to be completed and signed by both parties and the divorce will not be final for at least another two months.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian openly talked about her outlook on marriage when the Kardashian clan sat down with Ryan Seacrest for a special interview on E! on Sunday.
"I do think I would get married again," she said. "That's what I've always wanted -- just because you think you find it and you realize that's not it. I was brave enough to realize that quickly and not waste time, I found what I really wanted. I do want that."
Are glad the Kris and Kim's divorce drama is over?
