Most people were so caught up on Khloe and Lamar Odom’s marriage drama that the news of the Kardashian matriarch’s split from husband Bruce Jenner almost came as a surprise. Though rumors about Kris and Bruce’s relationship struggles have circulated around tabloids for months, the couple only announced their separation on Tuesday, October 8.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars said in a joint statement to E! News. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our No. 1 priority.”

Additionally, Kris told Us Weekly that she will always love Bruce despite the end of their marriage. “We are no longer a couple in that way. We are happier this way.”

According to TMZ’s source, Kris and Jenner, who have been  married since 1991, have been allegedly separated since June. He’s now living at his  Malibu beach house while she’s residing at the  Kardashian family home in Calabasas.

While the couple didn’t reveal the reason for their split, a source tells People that Bruce reached a  “breaking point when Kim Kardashian moved into the Jenner household with Kanye West and their infant daughter, North.”

“It got crazy,” the insider revealed. “It was all about Kim and North and no one paid Bruce any attention, especially Kris.”

As of this moment, though, Bruce is confident to say that “nobody is filing for divorce. “I’m doing great,” the former Olympian told People. “Kris is happy, I’m happy.” It’s also safe to say that filming of the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians will continue despite their current situation.

If and when they decide to the divorce, Radar reports that the couple would have to fight over an alleged $125  million fortune since they did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

Meanwhile, Kris, who remains friends with Bruce, has opened up to New You Magazine about the one regret in her life.

“The one regret, if I had to do it over, would be divorcing Robert Kardashian,” Jenner revealed. “But then there wouldn’t have been Kendall and Kylie, so that’s the way I look at that. I don’t have a lot of regrets. Everything happens for a reason, and we learn from our mistakes.”
