Kim Kardashian was spotted for the first time in public since giving birth to her baby, North West. According to Us Weekly
, which posted photos of the reality starlet who was dressed down in sweatpants, she was at a medical facility in Los Angeles on Wednesday with boyfriend Kanye West and the nanny, who was holding the baby in a concealed carrier.
Rumor has it that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star refused to leave the house despite already shedding a lot of the pregnancy weight.
"Now that a decent amount of time has elapsed since Kim's been seen, she feels more pressure," a source told the magazine. "She's extremely self-conscious about her current body. The weight isn't coming off as quickly. She plateaued. This is the hard part now."
Meanwhile, Kim has lashed out on TV personality Katie Couric for some comments she made about the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. After Couric said in an In Touch interview that she thinks "it's mostly teenage girls that are interested" when it comes to the Kardashian family fame, Kim decided to break her silence by posting a photo to her Instagram account of the baby clothes and note from Couric that was given to her after she gave birth with a snarky hashtag.
Kim's hashtag included "#IhateFakeMediaFriends" and "#MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t."
Couric quickly responded by explaining her side of the story. "I've met Kim before and I think she's a really sweet person. I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family," she said in a statement. "I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye [West]."
