'Kardashians' News Roundup: Is It Really Over for Kim and Kris?
Kim Kardashian will probably go down in history for her lavish and short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries, and not for all those other things she's supposedly famous for (and we use the word "famous" loosely here). But maybe there's still hope of reconciliation for these two? After all, it's $10 million down the drain if this just ends in a divorce.

TMZ reports that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star flew to Minnesota to reunite with her future ex-husband. It's not really to patch things up 100%, but more for closure. Sources say she just wanted to talk to him and later meet with the pastor who officiated their wedding.

Is it another suspicious ploy to get attention? According to Hollyscoop, there are a lot of people who believe this to be a PR stunt yet again. But reality TV mom Kris Jenner explained her daughter's actions.

She spoke to Extra about the divorce, saying "It's not the ideal situation. It's not how I expected things to happen, for sure." Still, she trusts that Kim will do what's best for herself.

"Whatever decisions Kim is making right now, she's a very smart girl and she's gonna do the right thing. All I can do is wrap my arms around her and make sure she's okay," Jenner added.

Word has it that Kris Humphries isn't at all pleased about what happened to their marriage, which is why he's back in his hometown in the first place. "He's sad," a source told E! Online. "He doesn't want a war. He's laying low."

But a source told Us Weekly that Kim's visit to Kris was of a friendly nature. Even though they're not getting back together, she still wanted to split amicably and discuss things in detail.

"[Kim] wanted to see [Kris] face to face to put some finality on it. She didn't want things to get ugly with them and it was heading down that road," the insider revealed.

Kim Kardashian also wrote a blog entry explaining herself and what she thought happened between her and Kris. "I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and I couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have. [...] It just didn't turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for."

Despite their efforts at wrapping things up between them, this certainly isn't the last we'll hear of the Kim and Kris saga. But tell us, haven't you had enough already?
