Peter André is a pop singer, songwriter and television personality who was born on February 27, 1973 in Harrow, London. Though he was born in England, he grew up instead in Australia, and comes from a family line of Greek Cypriot heritage. He presently resides in Ockley, in Surrey, England, with his wife Katie Price and their children: Harvey Daniel, Sawa Andreas, and Princess Tiáami. André’s parents are Greek, and he has four older brothers and one sister. The singer first got his start on the Australian television talent show New Faces back in 1990. He was signed up by Australian music industry player Molly Meldrum, who helmed Melodian Records, and noted André’s impression of Bobby Brown.

His first top 50 single in the UK was a song called “Only One,” which reached number 16 on the charts. His later works include the number 2 single Mysterious Girl with Bubbler Ranx, and the album Natural. However, his career seesawed as he tried going into R&B as well as pop. Among the other musical performers he has collaborated with are the Backstreet Boys, Sean Maguire, Ultimate Kaos and East 17. André has also appeared in the British reality television series I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!
