Comedian and actor Anthony Alvin Anderson was born on August 15, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. He first gained recognition through his appearance on NBC's Hang Time, where he played Teddy Broadis from 1996 to 1998 and his breakout role was in
Rome o Must Die in 1999, where he played Maurice. Since then, he has appeared in numerous films such as Exit Wounds, Barbershop, and Kangaroo Jack. In 2003, he starred in the WB sitcom, All About the Andersons, co-starring John Amos. After one season, the show was cancelled and in 2005, Anderson began co-starring in the fourth season of
