Ready for another edition of Buddy Bites, kids? You know, our little news roundup thing. There's a fair bit of bad news for men in tonight's edition, and we start off with...
ABC cancels Man Up: the Christopher Moynihan starrer has been pulled from the network's schedules,
according to The Hollywood Reporter. It will be replaced by reruns of Tim Allen's
Last Man Standing (he really is the last man standing now, yes?) until the end of the year. The cross-dressing comedy
Work It will take over its schedule next year. All ten episodes the network ordered this season have been produced, with all the unaired eps expected to air over the summer.
At least that cancellation's a definite, unlike the
speculation we heard last week about another ABC series,
Pan Am, being grounded. But there's some good news from ABC's side: the network will start streaming all episodes of its freshman hits
Revenge and
Once Upon A Time online, as opposed to five at a time,
according to THR.
NEW PROJECTS NEWS: The Office and
Parks and Recreation boss
Greg Daniels is working with Office's Mindy Kaling and Parks & Rec producer Alan Yang for two separate animated series,
according to Deadline. Kaling's project revolves around a high school women's volleyball team, while Yang's project is about a group of twentysomething guys sharing a house in upscale LA. This isn't Daniels' first foray into animation, of course; he co-created Fox's
King of the Hill.

J.J. Abrams is collaborating with One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn on a new series for the CW,
Deadline reports. The series, currently called
Maine, centers around the staff and guests of an inn in... Maine.
Is Ryan Seacrest headed to Today? There are talks,
according to the Wall Street Journal, which speculates that the
American Idol host will replace Matt Lauer on NBC's morning show. Negotiations are in its early stages, but I think it's not going to push through -- will Seacrest want to give up either
Idol, or his successful radio show, or his work at E!?
TIME FOR ROMANCE: More bad news for the guys.

NOOOOO! US Weekly reports that the two were spotted together during a recent
