It's official, Joe Jonas is back on the market! After several rumors on gossip blogs that the Joe and Camilla Belle have called it quits, the break up has now been confirmed.

"Yes, it's true, they have broken up," Belle's rep told MTV News. "There is no third party involved, and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends."



Joe Jonas, who is part of the trio group The Jonas Brothers, and Camilla Belle, whose credits include The Lost World: Jurassic Park and When a Stranger Calls, started dating last November, after Belle appeared in the video for the Jonas Brothers' song, "Lovebug." At the time the video was shot, Joe was still dating country music singer Taylor Swift, who later on promoted her album on various talk shows and talked openly about her suspicion that Belle was the reason for their split.

It's not clear why Jonas and Belle broke up but rumors started to surface over the weekend, specifically when Jonas broke into tears during two of his performances in Detroit. Many fans saw and heard Jonas cry through his Camp Rock hit "Gotta Find You" and "Turn Right," a song off his new album.

Moreover, Jonas decided to switch up some of the lyrics to the group's songs with new lyrics to reflect the breakup.  In the song "Much Better," he switched the line, "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with superstars," to, "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with movie stars." He also made his availability known by changing the "girl" in "Now I see everything I'd ever need is the girl in front of me" to the more all-inclusive "girls."

But that's not all. Adding more fuel to the break up speculation is the fact that during the Jonas Brothers' concert in Boston a week earlier, Joe symbolically took off the necklace given to him by Belle in front of all his fans.
