Separate Interviews for 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Finale; No More 'Kate Plus 8'?
Separate Interviews for 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Finale; No More 'Kate Plus 8'?
Don't let the "finale" bit fool you; this won't be the last we'll see of Jon and Kate Gosselin.  The NY Post announced that next week will mark the end of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8, in which both parents will discuss the recent developments in their relationship - separately, that is.

While initial reports said that the two Gosselins would appear together for their swan song, Access Hollywood has confirmed that they won't even be sharing the same couch.  TLC will interview Jon then Kate, before airing more footage of their time with the children.

The network claims that the series will officially be over after this November 23 finale, where the estranged couple will be around "to provide new insights on their recent life events."  They will also discuss their future, along with what might be in store for their brood.

Also on the finale are scenes wherein Kate Gosselin brings the kids to a local dairy farm and Jon Gosselin takes them later to a farm house.  After everything, there will be a montage with music, wrapping up the entire five seasons of Jon and Kate Plus 8.

But while the show will be over and done with, there was a little hope left for those on Team Kate and her own reality series.  TLC announced earlier this year that they're working on revising the show and making it Kate Plus 8.  However, the NY Post reports that this might no longer happen.

TLC won't be able to push through with a regular series called Kate Plus 8, but might air occasional specials for the Gosselin kids.  As for Kate, she's still hoping that talk show pilot with the Food Network's Paula Deen will push through.

Meanwhile, Jon still has those lawsuits to wrap up.  TLC sued him for breaching his contract with them, while the Gosselin dad counter-sued them for $5 million.  We can leave him to that, but we can be certain that's going to be an issue once the Jon and Kate Plus 8 finale airs on November 23.  After which, the time slot will be given to Cake Boss beginning November 30.
