Kate Plus 8: Jon Gosselin Wants More Cash for Appearances
Talk about an overestimation of self-worth.  Now that Jon Gosselin is out of TLC's reality TV circuit, he has to make some money for a living.  Still, who would've thought he'd be the one dictating the figures of his salary?  TMZ reports that the Jon and Kate Plus 8 star demanded $12,000 per hour for an appearance in a Florida radio show.  Maybe all that publicity made the guy delusional.

The publication talked to the host of Tampa's MJ Morning Show recently, and it was disclosed that they wanted the father of eight to be their guest.  They contacted Jon's rep, hoping to book the star as a co-host for a single morning.  They even offered two class round trip plane tickets, limo service and a "first class" hotel room to the guy, only to be rejected.

According to the host, Gosselin's rep asked for an "appearance fee ... in the 10-12K range."  The reason for this is simply Jon's star presence.  Admittedly, the guy's despised by hundreds of people and even that is enough to boost his popularity.  Bad press is still press and all that.

Explaining the demands, the Gosselin dad's people went on: "[Jon's] name and appearance on your show will instantly draw press ... and will be a high point for the show."  They even referred to Jon as "quite funny, sharp witted and interesting."  Well, for that much money he better be.

Upon reading the requests of Jon Gosselin's party, the host said he "fell out of his chair."  So it's a no deal for the listeners of MJ and a no-show for Jon.  Even so, it doesn't look like he actually needs more money anyway.

The reality TV dad recently purchased a new ATV for his daughter, Cara's, birthday.  OK Magazine snapped some shots of Jon Gosselin trying to set up the 4-wheeler as his children stood and watched in the backyard of their Pennsylvania home.  Oh wait, maybe Jon does need the cash if he plans on giving all eight kids so many presents.  If that's the case, the host of the Florida show suggests Jon return to "Entertainment Something" for payday.
