It may be too early to think about babies, Hailey Glassman. The current girlfriend of the Jon and Kate Plus 8 patriarch said that she had quite a handful to put up with when it comes to Jon Gosselin. Apparently, he's the type to throw temper tantrums or, as she calls them, "mantrums."
Perhaps he got them from his kids? The 22-year-old Glassman explained how Jon Gosselin's drama played out in their relationship. "He'll call me and take his anger out on me," she said. People.com reports that all this is part of an interview with The Insider, scheduled to air this week.
"He has 'mantrums,'" Glassman went on. "I shouldn't have to put up with being emotionally abused. I cry and say, 'Why are you so mean to me?'"
We can all speculate the answer to that question, but all the reality star father can do is stall. Hailey Glassman declared that her boyfriend actually has problems spitting out the real deal. Uh-oh, can the same be said for every time the guy opens his mouth?
"Sometimes he has trouble with the truth, and he will dance and dance around his lies," she said. "He's like Jekyll and Hyde."
Despite all those traits that are far from endearing, Glassman admits that her affection for him is still strong. "But I still love him," she exclaimed. Though acknowledging that her relationship with Jon is "not normal," she maintains that there's no other guy she'd rather be with.
"I don't want to leave him all alone," Glassman said, extending the metaphor of Jon acting like a child sometimes. She continued, "At the end of the day, I love him but I dislike him at times. When I love someone I would never hurt them."
There's something very martyr-like about Hailey Glassman as she talks about the Jon and Kate Plus 8 dad. She even puts up with all the negative attention she receives because of him.
"People judge me before they meet me," she revealed. "I get threats everyday. I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse everyday."
Maybe it's time to re-evaluate her relationship with Jon Gosselin, for her sake. Then again, she doesn't seem the type to think about herself all that much.
