After the fiasco involving her TLC series Jon and Kate Plus 8 and her divorce with Jon Gosselin, the reality TV mom is slowly getting back to work. There was the announcement of
her appearance on The View, and now she's already set to make another move for her career. Kate Gosselin will be launching her third book later this year, which is a more personal take on her life.
According to
People, the celebrity mother of eight will be releasing a tome titled
I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family on April 13. She already has two New York Times bestsellers on her hands, and it looks like she's getting ready for another one.
From Zondervan Publishers, the personal book is a collection of letters to her kids, prayers, and excerpts from Kate Gosselin's journal. The notes included in
I Just Want You to Know are individually addressed to her eight children - from the twins Mady and Cara, to the sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel.
In a statement released by the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 mom herself, she explained what she intends with the publication of this book. Really, it's not just about the money, even though that plays a huge part.
"Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised," Kate Gosselin declared. "I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally."
She went on: "I don't want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them."
The book isn't the only big announcement regarding Kate Gosselin's career. We're not talking about her constantly shifting hairdos, but another television show. People has confirmed that the reality TV mom is still currently in production for the new series for TLC.
