Now that Kate Gosselin is back on our television screens with a reality competition stint, prepare for some news about her hair. It may not matter that much to you, but it's always been a big deal for the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 star. No wonder a makeover is in line for her
Dancing with the Stars debut.

Practicing with partner Tony Dovolani isn't the only thing on her agenda, as she works things out with her hairstylist Ted Gibson.
According to
Radar Online, Kate Gosselin will be having her hair extensions taken out right before she makes an appearance for
Dancing with the Stars. Does this mean goodbye and good riddance to the $7,000 she spent on her longer locks?
Ted Gibson told the publication about his plans for the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 matriarch. He said that Kate Gosselin's hair will be kept short, but not for long (pun definitely not intended).
"She'll have a new hairdo tomorrow because we're taking them out and we're not putting them back in until Thursday," Gibson revealed. "So she'll have short hair for a day."
As for Gosselin's upcoming
Dancing with the Stars routines, we may be seeing her undergo a number of changes. Such is the case with divorcees.
Going over the details, Ted Gibson explained: "We're actually doing three different shades of blonde, a caramel, a beige blond and a little bit of a lighter blonde. The extensions will last through the whole time she's on the show."
But what we're really more interested in here is the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 star's ability to work it on the dance floor. Apparently, Ted Gibson believes she has just the right moves.
"I think she has a good chance," Kate's hair-guy said. "I think she's having a good time and that's going to show, that she's having a good time."

Jon and Kate Plus 8 mom and Tony Dovolani. Winning the game is another matter entirely, since we're not basing that on the quality of hair products.
