Jon Gosselin Hoping to Quit 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Stint
Jon Gosselin Hoping to Quit 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' Stint
He finally admitted it.  The sad news is, they won't let him.  Jon Gosselin, the notorious patriarch of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8, recently whined about his disdain at working on a reality series.

After being faithfully followed by the media, the father of eight has had enough of the spotlight.  He expressed how much he's come to shun the attention he's getting from every move he makes.  According to the New York Daily News, Jon Gosselin told Usmagazine about his feelings on the show.

"I wish I had a 9 to 5 job instead of the nightmare I'm living," the 32-year-old Jon and Kate Plus 8 star revealed.  "This is 24/7!  I don't even want to do taping for the show anymore."

Interviewed outside his million-dollar Pennsylvania home, the dad said that wanting to quit the series isn't enough.  He's still obligated to continue filming Jon and Kate Plus 8, much to his dislike.  Jon Gosselin also complained at how he's pushed to participate in several promotional appearances for the network for the money.

"I have two houses and eight children to take care of and I need to work," Gosselin said.  It sounds really admirable that he's concerned about the kids, but it's getting more and more difficult to believe anything that comes from this guy's mouth.  Especially with the new shirt he was spotted wearing.

Jon Gosselin wasn't seen donning his usual Ed Hardy clothes last Monday, but was sporting a shirt with a very blatant print: "Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies."  Well, those words are definitely up for interpretation.  It's either he's sending a message of contempt for those keeping their eyes on him, but there's another reading we can look into.  One can actually consider the person wearing it as being guilty of dishonesty.  Then again, it's up to whoever sees it.

He was supposedly doing a good deed that day, taking a trip to the Lower Heidelberg Fire Company in Berks County, Pa. with his eight children.  The Gosselin clan threw a fundraising lemonade stand and the kids tried out the uniforms of the firemen.  Maybe Jon should take a tip from those guys and get a job like theirs.  Firefighter Gosselin.  Hm, it might work.
