It didn't take long for the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 matriarch to hear about the latest news regarding Jon Gosselin's new girlfriend. She may be busy keeping the kids out of harm's way in their Pennsylvania home, but she took time off to gossip and unleash her wrath.
We previously reported that
Jon Gosselin was spotted in St. Tropez holding hands with Hailey Glassman, the 22-year-old daughter of Kate's plastic surgeon. They were in the south of France together, and eyewitnesses immediately dismissed them as having a romantic tryst. According to
Radar Online, a friend told Kate about the overseas trip and revealed what the octuplet mom felt about the incident.
"She's furious," the insider said. Kate has been seen wearing her wedding ring still, while doing chores around the area. She was also spotted picnicking with the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 kids, while Jon was out strolling with Hailey Glassman.
Regarding the background of his new flame, it seems as though Jon is really into the bad girl type.
Us Weekly discovered that Glassman actually has an arrest record, soon unveiling the girl's mug shot on the Internet.
Back in 2005, Glassman was a student at the Bloomington, Indiana campus and was picked up by cops (Jon and Kate's sextuplets were about a year old at this time). Apparently, she and five of her friends were hanging out at a parking lot at 3am. Jerry Minger of the IU Police Department found the group "passing a pipe back and forth, which is consistent with marijuana."
While there were various charges against them, Glassman was incarcerated for possession of the drug. She had a couple of plastic bags filled with a substance that was later tested positive for THC. She was soon put on probation after paying fines and court costs, and the case was eventually settled.
Now that we know who Jon Gosselin is dating, we can't really be shocked at why Kate blew her top.
