They keep saying how much they're into each other, so it's no surprise that Hailey Glassman never fails to stand by Jon Gosselin. Her affections for the Jon and Kate Plus 8 dad even pushed her to take a swing at the network that produces the show, in addition to her fury for the media and the whole situation. Well, shouldn't she just deal with the attention that her actions have to herself?
"Before all this, I was happy-go-lucky," Hailey Glassman told E! News. "I was never a follower. I was never a gossiper. I did my own thing."
Jon Gosselin's current squeeze went on to say how difficult it's been for her these past days, being the target of the press and all. "To be honest, this whole thing, I have lost my happiness through this all. I don't want to say the public and media stripped me of my self-esteem. But they really have. I've been the sacrificial lamb in this situation."
As for her scorn for TLC - "The Learning Channel" - Glassman believes that their statements aren't to be trusted as well. "More like the lying channel," she boldly proclaimed.
Glassman confessed that she knew the Gosselin marriage was over when she entered the scene, enabling her to step into Jon's life freely. "TLC didn't allow [Jon and Kate Gosselin] to come out and say their marriage was done a year ago," the 22-year-old girl went on. She claims that she and Jon didn't hook up until after.
If that isn't enough to paint a pretty picture of Jon Gosselin, which we thought impossible, Glassman even talks about the other girls in her reality Romeo's life. There's Kate 2.0/Kate Major, who she describes as "cuckoo, cuckoo," and the new girl Stephanie Santoro, the kids' current nanny.
"Jon has a good heart, she has a child and he felt bad," Glassman explained. "He knows how it feels to have a child and not be able to afford, you know, so he hired her to give her a job."
To add to that, Hailey Glassman isn't pleased with what everyone's been saying about her. Well, we aren't exactly pleased at how things have been going for
Jon and Kate Plus 8 either.
"It's a dirty, dirty world. Bamboozling, this world. I didn't know any of this would happen," she said. "People need to realize there's two sides to every story...TLC, they're telling something but the truth is always in that fuzzy area."
